Prestigious Awards for TOFMHS Staff Members

It is a great honor that three of our TOFMHS Staff Members have received very prestigious honors from two national entities for their work in Early Childhood Development. Ms. Fatima Thomas, Building Principal and Ms. LaTeice Gaines, Lead Teacher at GSRP Chapel Hill site received the High Scope Foundation - 2019 Excellent in High Quality Early Childhood Education Award. Ms. Emily Boelter, Lead Teacher at GSRP Chapel Hill site won the Teacher of the Week Award provided by Radio Station Mix 92.3 .read more

Detroit Head Start Job Fair

Seven Detroit Head Start Agencies with over 30 open positions (20 of those are various teaching positions) as well as direct services, management, program support, and administration. Required credentials vary by position and agency; however, most teaching positions require an associate or bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field, or at least a child development associate (CDA).read more
